I was wrestling to get free of some church hurt I was carrying when I came to Bethel Austin School of Ministry. After years in the ministry, I had become a bit jaded by the “Church”.
During BASM, God used so many different circumstances happening in the school to heal my heart, build up my faith hope and light me on fire for God again.
My biggest breakthrough was seeing God redeem certain things I literally never thought would be redeemed this side of heaven. I watched redemption happen right before my eyes.
Today, I have fallen back in love with the “Church” and live to serve people and love them well.
If you're considering BASM and have been hurt by a church in the past, I would tell you this is the place to be. Before BASM, I was a single woman running after God, surrendering my life to him completely every day. During BASM orientation we all had the opportunity to declared one thing we wanted to see God do by the end of the school year. I declared that Lord would open my husband’s eyes to find me and God did a full circle miracle. He opened his eyes to see me and we started dating in October then in February, we were engaged. The biggest breakthrough was graduating into marriage at the end of the year.
If you are considering BASM, I would tell you go for it! It's so worth it the dedication, time and spiritually, you will be transformed inside and out. God will provide for your money needs as well! He paid my full tuition and books miraculously. I release that over every single one of you who is considering the school. It is such a beautiful journey with God and community.

This year God used Bethel Austin School of Ministry to crack open a verse I thought I already knew. Proverbs 18:21 says life and death are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. I’d heard that taught a hundred times growing up, but I had never actually understood it until this year.
Through the teaching here, the Word stopped being information and became revelation. I learned that my words aren’t just expressions, they’re seeds. Every declaration I make is something I will eventually eat the fruit of, whether I planted faith or fear. That shifted how I pray over my children, how I speak in deliverance ministry, and how I talk to myself when no one else is listening.
Bethel Austin teaches theology and it builds you. The leaders create space for the Holy Spirit to actually move and for students to wrestle with scripture until it becomes personal. I walked in knowing about the power of my words. I walked out wielding it on purpose.
If you’re looking for a school that will take you deeper into the Word and into your own authority in Christ, this is it. Five stars, no hesitation.

What Father did this year through the school team
was unprecedented. The melding of everyone's hearts throughout the year and the power and the demonstration of the Holy Spirit during the trips to Mexico and Honduras was stunning. Where else can you find world class leadership, training, and equipping on this level. I do not know of any other place in this area. I was so personally changed and engaged by the goodness of our Father and his never ending pursuit to overwhelm us and completely fill us. If you are considering joining the school in any way I would personaly say come and taste and see. You will not be disappointed in the transformation of who you become. Dangerous people in the spirit are birthed because they come from explosive communities. Come work on you and look back and see how you have stepped into new paradigms. Moving into the tangible realms of Father's love and being surrounded by the Trinity is all I want to do for the rest of my life...

There's a lot that happened over the course of the ministry school. It's hard to sum it all up in a few paragraphs. I had the desire to go but didn't know if it was the course to take. While journaling with the Lord about a few things the leaders of the school reached out to me to attend free in the exchange for helping run the sound board. I knew then and there I had to attend.
At the time I was dealing with intense feelings of loneliness and when Charlie Kirk was assassinated I was thrown into a state of grief that I couldn't shake easily. In fact all of the BASM and Bethel Redding turmoil also rocked me and had I not been in the ministry school at the time and been able to hear from church leadership about their approach and perspective of the situations, I might have started attending a different church. However, God had me in this Ark of safety with the ministry school to travel through all these storms and not get thrown off course. I view all the instructors' weekly teachings, trainings, activations and ministry time like the drogue stones of Noah's ark that helped keep the ship balanced and prevent it from turning over so it could face the waves of the great flood. I'm grateful to have had a place to go to that was spirit led and very life giving to help me along all the internal issues I was facing and not cap size from them.
Through the school I met a young lady that I started dating and through the course of the school year, with much prayer, discussions with others and some words and signs from God I decided to end my long life of singleness to marry her. With her, my lonely days are gone.
There's so much to gain in joining the school: a sense of safety, like minded classmates, times of refreshing along with equipping and opportunities to put that training into practice. This is the place to be!

After your application have been returned, you can schedule an interview. At busy times of the year, we may not have interview slots available. If this happens, keep checking back daily for new interview time slots. After your interview, we aim to have the application decision within one to two weeks.
Bethel Austin School of Equipping (BASE) is a Spirit-filled Christian ministry school based in Austin, Texas that offers both in-person and online ministry training. Students receive practical biblical teaching, spiritual formation, discipleship, leadership development, ministry activation, and calling clarity. BASE equips believers to know God deeply, grow in character, build authentic community, and bring the Kingdom of God into every sphere of influence.
